Americana Breakdown (Baird/Blanton) One day The Bluefields were working out a new song and someone (may have been Warner) said, “Put in an Americana Breakdown.” For those who don’t know, that’s where the verse breaks down after the solo. I dug the sound of the words together and Dan helped me write it. Even though both he and Warner are considered forefathers of the movement, he did not dig the use of “Americana” but was kind enough to let me have my way. Feature a little B3 action by Dan.
